Intended for no more than 5-6 kids gathered together.
Designed to empower a small group leader to invest in their kids lives and build relationships.
A safe place. They share confidentially in their small group of what is taking place in their lives. This is their life group. Create a small intimate space where kids can come and share what is going on to pray for, as well as, celebrate the great things happening to them. Fostering an environment of respect and acceptance is crucial in a small group setting.
Where the application piece really takes place. It’s applying the point and story, God’s word, in practical ways that meet the kids where they are in their faith journey.

Make your small groups personal and relatable during discussion and question time. Share something going on in your life with your group. (ie. you got a new pet, you’re going on a trip to the mountains, your child graduated from high school, appropriate discussion for small groups) This will open the line of communication for them to share things going on in their lives. You can then use what they share with you for writing a post card to send them that week.
